A truly cross community event!

The Hong Kong Community was given the opportunity to see a performance of musical fusion from one of Israel’s most well known bands.

For one night, the International Trade and Exhibition Center in Kowloon was transformed by a unique blend of music that captivated the full auditorium of local Chinese, the Jewish Community as well as  Western and Eastern expats.

It is the first time the JWA has organized such a cross community event, we were happy to have had the help of one foundation sponsor and the participation of many local families.

 The Jewish community is already asking for an encore performance… 

A Family Fun Day – was enjoyed by all!

The JWA Bazaar is held once a year at the Island School. Jewish and Israeli manufacturers from all over Asia donated their samples and goods to operate the bazaar. 

The JWA Bazaar is well known as  the biggest bazaar in Hong Kong and the most successful one.
December 2007 was no exception, we had people from all different nationalities and age groups lining up to enter our legendary JWA Bazaar.

It was a not to be missed one day shopping experience. Everything  you can imagine, from household, toys, clothing, books, and accessories to our ‘Children’s Kingdom’ with variety of activities for Children, can be found there.

Bazaar 2007 hosted 3,000 shoppers from Hong Kong and 200 volunteers from the Jewish Community who operated it.
